We sell plenty of models that have a long and storied history here at Fields Chrysler Jeep® Dodge Asheville. One of them is the Jeep® Wrangler, an SUV that's been fueling drivers' love of adventure for decades now. The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is coming soon, and it looks like this new Jeep vehicle is going to continue this tradition while offering a few new tricks.

Here's what we know about the 2020 Jeep Wrangler so far:

First, the engine lineup has been tweaked a bit. The standard powertrain in most trim levels is a 2.0-liter inline-four engine. Drivers can also upgrade to a beefier 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine if they want a bit more power. In the Sahara trim, both of these engines will be available with “eTorque.” This means that the will also use a mild-hybrid system for increased power and efficiency. Currently, the 2019 RAM 1500 utilizes eTorque. Other trims will get the same engines, just without eTorque. Then there's the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine, which will be available shortly after the 2020 Jeep Wrangler hits the market. Recent reports indicate that it will be optional equipment in any Jeep Wrangler Unlimited model.

FCA US LLC has also changed up some of the options packages for the new model year. Drivers can now upgrade to an 8.4-inch Uconnect® navigation system without buying the entire Premium Audio Group Package. The LED Lighting Group is now available in lower trim levels, including the Sport S. Drivers can also opt for the Advanced Safety Group, which includes automatic high-beams. The 2020 Jeep Wrangler arrives at our dealership later this year.
